Our decision to invest in an in-house powder coating system stems from our commitment to delivering high-quality products efficiently, tailored to the unique needs of each project. With a focus on small panels and housings primarily made from aluminium, as well as our aluminium Window Hoods, this system aligns perfectly with our current and future production requirements.
We’ve incorporated a four-stage chrome-free immersion pre-treatment process, ensuring that our coatings adhere seamlessly to the surface while minimising environmental impact. By eliminating harmful chemicals like chromium, we’re not only safeguarding our surroundings but also upholding our responsibility to sustainability.
Central to our powder coating¹ setup is the conveyorised powder application booth, featuring two automatic reciprocators. This configuration optimises the coating process, ensuring uniform coverage and minimising waste. With automation at the forefront of our procedures, we’re able to streamline our operations, boost productivity, and maintain consistency in output—all while reducing manual labour and potential errors.
In addition to efficiency gains, we’ve also prioritised energy efficiency in our system design. Our LPG gas-fired curing oven is tailored to accommodate products up to 4 metres in length, providing ample space for various items in our production line. By harnessing LPG, we’re not only ensuring rapid curing times but also minimising our carbon footprint compared to traditional heating methods.
